“MEET AND GREET THE CANDIDATES”, (sponsored by Lakeshore Republican Women’s Club -Kewaunee County) to be held
5:30-8:00 PM Tuesday June 15, 2010, at PORT’O'CALL RESTAURANT, 310 Milwaukee St. (on Hwy 42 just north of intersection with Hwy 29) Kewaunee
This ‘meet and greet’ is designed for candidates to bring nomination papers and meet Kewaunee County voters. The event is open to the public. All Republican candidates who will be running to represent the voters of Kewaunee County have been invited. Candidates attending are not going to give speeches, but rather mingle and visit with voters who attend.
There is no fee, but donations will be accepted by the LRWC, and attendees can order a meal or a snack off the restaurant’s menu during their visit. Weather permitting, the event will be held on the restaurant’s deck overlooking the picturesque Lake Michigan harbor in Kewaunee, otherwise inside.

The campaigns for Scott Walker and Mark Neumann for Governor and Ron Johnson for US Senate have replied that they are interested but have not confirmed as of June 2nd.

Scott Walker, for Governor, Scott Feldt, for state treasurer; Dave Ross, Rebecca Kleefisch and Brett Davis- for Lt. Governor; David King, for sec of state; and JB VanHollen- Attorney General, all attended the Kewaunee County’s Lincoln Day dinner March 28th, and may not plan to be in Kewaunee county again this soon. #
